I’m dreaming of a white Easter… It doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, does it? Yet, Spring has not sprung in this part of the world; snow is on the ground and temperatures have stayed stubbornly in single digits since Christmas. No sign of buds on trees, daffodils lining flowerbeds or bunnies hopping in green fields. Still, if nature isn’t heralding the arrival of Spring, I can do so in the kitchen, with a Simnel Cake. Roasted Pears with Pecorino for #SundaySupper

When I heard that the theme for this week’s #SundaySupper was Cheese, Cake and Cheesecake, hosted by Angie of Big Bear’s Wife I was in a quandry. As you can no doubt tell from the title of this blog, baking is my thing – so a cake would be the obvious choice. However, in a bid to extend my repertoire and share a few more nutritious, healthy recipes, as well as the indulgent ones, I decided to make a savoury dish – Roasted Pears with Pecorino.
